Kids in the Kitchen
Carrot Salad

 
  • 4 cups carrots, shredded
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup blanched, slivered almonds
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. In a bowl, combine carrots, apple, lime juice, honey, almonds and salt and pepper.
  2. Toss and chill before serving.

Makes 8 servings.
