Orange-Glazed Halibut

 
  • 1 pound halibut steaks, fresh or frozen (thawed)
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 orange, peeled & sliced

Place halibut steaks in a 10x6x2 inch baking dish. For sauce, in a small saucepan stir together cornstarch, bouillon granules, salt, green onion, and orange juice. Cook and stir toll thickened and bubbly.

Take orange slices and cut into quarters. Stir orange pieces into juice mixture. Pour over fish. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or till fish flakes easily with a fork.

Makes 4 servings.
