Oven baked tortilla chips

 
  • 1 package corn tortillas
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Fine salt (to taste)

Preheat oven to 400˚F.

Brush both sides of tortillas with oil.

Use a pizza cutter to cut tortillas into 8 equal pieces.

Spread the chips out in a single layer on 2 large baking sheets.

Sprinkle salt over tortillas.

Bake until golden brown and crisp (approx. 6 – 10 minutes) flipping chips over at 4 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.

Children and adults love these tortilla chips. They pair great with the fresh salsa.
Use spinach or other flavor tortillas as a substitute. Also cinnamon and sugar substitute can replace the salt for a delicious dessert.
